Job Summary:

The Mobile Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mobile phones and related devices. The role involves identifying hardware and software issues, replacing faulty components, ensuring repair quality, and providing technical support to customers while maintaining customer satisfaction and data privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mobile phone hardware and software problems.

• Repair and replace damaged screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers, microphones, and other components.

• Perform motherboard-level repairs and soldering when required.

• Install, update, and troubleshoot mobile operating systems and firmware.

• Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment to identify technical faults.

• Conduct functional tests to ensure repaired devices operate properly.

• Maintain records of repairs, spare parts, service costs, and customer complaints.

• Explain technical issues, repair options, costs, and turnaround times to customers.

• Handle customer devices and personal data securely and confidentially.

• Maintain repair tools, equipment, and a clean and organized workstation.

• Follow safety procedures and company repair standards.

• Keep up to date with new mobile phone models, technologies, and repair techniques.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Technical training or certification in mobile phone repair or electronics is preferred.

• Practical experience in mobile phone repair is an advantage.

• Knowledge of mobile phone hardware, software, and electronic components.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, soldering equipment, and firmware installation.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
