Job Description
CBM Global works alongside people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places to fight poverty and exclusion and transform lives. CBM initiated its work in Nepal since 1982 and supports a diverse mix of national partners engaged in Inclusive Eye and Ear Care, Rehabilitation, Education, and Social Inclusion of persons with disabilities.
CBM Global Nepal Country Office seeks application from qualified and competent candidates for the position of Finance and Administration Officer.
CBM Global Nepal has initiated a humanitarian response in areas affected by the devastating flash floods in the Bhotekoshi River and downstream river systems. The response covers affected communities in the Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts and focuses on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), basic needs assistance, provision of assistive devices, rehabilitation services, and advocacy and technical support to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the overall humanitarian response.
The
Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall
financial and administrative functions of the humanitarian response project,
working in close coordination with the Country Office Finance and
Administration teams. S/he ensures effective financial
management of the project by monitoring the utilization of project budgets in
line with approved work plans, and CBM Global's policies and procedures. S/he
works closely with partner organizations to provide guidance and support on
grant management, financial reporting, and compliance. Additionally, s/he
provides administrative and procurement support as needed to ensure the
efficient functioning of the country office and successful implementation of
the project.
Reports to
DIDRM Coordinator, with dotted line reporting to the Finance Manager.
Base
Kathmandu, with frequent visit to the project locations
Contract Duration
Till February 2027
