Ltd. is looking for a creative and energetic Videographer / Video Editor who can shoot and edit high-quality social media content using a smartphone.The ideal candidate should understand short-form video content, Reels, TikTok-style videos, promotional videos, educational content, and social media trends. You will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and delivering engaging video content for our clients across different industries.We are looking for someone who can turn simple ideas into visually appealing and engaging videos using a smartphone and editing applications.Roles & Responsibilities1. Smartphone Videography• Shoot high-quality videos using smartphones for social media and digital marketing campaigns.• Plan and execute video shoots at client locations, offices, clinics, events, and other relevant locations.• Capture Reels, TikToks, promotional videos, educational videos, interviews, testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and other social media formats.• Handle smartphone camera settings, framing, exposure, focus, and basic composition.• Use smartphone accessories such as tripods, gimbals, microphones, and LED lights when required.• Set up basic lighting and audio equipment for video shoots.• Ensure stable, well-composed, and properly exposed footage.• Capture multiple angles and shots to provide flexibility during editing.• Coordinate with clients, presenters, models, doctors, staff, influencers, or other individuals during shoots.2. Video Editing• Edit short-form videos primarily for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.• Create engaging videos from raw smartphone footage.• Add captions, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, music, graphics, and other elements where appropriate.• Edit videos according to the brand's visual identity and communication style.• Create different versions of videos according to platform requirements.• Maintain appropriate pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.• Select suitable music, trending sounds, and audio based on the content and platform.• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, cropping, and video optimization.• Ensure videos are properly formatted for vertical, square, and other required formats.3. Content Creation• Collaborate with the social media and content team to develop video concepts.• Participate in brainstorming sessions for Reels and short-form content.• Convert social media content ideas into engaging video concepts.• Suggest creative hooks, transitions, shooting styles, and storytelling techniques.• Identify opportunities to create trending and shareable content.• Stay updated with current Reels, TikTok, and social media video trends.4. Pre-Production• Understand the objective and target audience of each video.• Review scripts, captions, references, and creative briefs before shooting.• Prepare basic shot lists and shooting plans.• Identify suitable locations, backgrounds, lighting conditions, and props.• Coordinate shooting schedules with the internal team and clients.• Ensure all necessary equipment and smartphone accessories are ready before shoots.5. Post-Production & File Management• Organize raw footage and project files properly.• Maintain proper file naming and folder structures.• Backup important footage and project files when required.• Deliver final videos within agreed deadlines.• Make revisions based on feedback from clients or the internal creative team.• Maintain consistency across videos produced for the same brand.6. Client & Team Coordination• Coordinate with Social Media Handlers, Content Writers, Designers, and Account Managers.• Communicate professionally with clients during video shoots.• Understand client requirements and translate them into visual content.• Ensure videos meet the approved creative brief and brand guidelines.• Be flexible with shooting locations, schedules, and content requirements.Requirements• Proven interest or experience in smartphone videography and video editing.• Strong understanding of short-form social media content.• Ability to shoot visually appealing videos using a smartphone.• Good understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and camera movement.• Knowledge of smartphone camera features and shooting techniques.• Ability to edit videos using mobile or desktop editing applications.• Good understanding of transitions, subtitles, text overlays, music, sound effects, and pacing.• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.• Good communication and teamwork skills.• Willingness to travel to client locations for shoots when required.Preferred Qualifications• 1–2 years of experience in smartphone videography, video editing, or social media content creation.• Experience working with a digital marketing or advertising agency is an advantage.• Experience creating Reels, TikTok videos, promotional videos, or branded content.• Knowledge of editing applications such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.• Experience using smartphone gimbals, tripods, wireless microphones, and LED lights.• Understanding of social media trends and viral content formats.• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.• Basic knowledge of photography is an advantage.• A portfolio/showreel of previous work is highly preferred.
