We are seeking an engaging Lecturer/Tutor to deliver the Concepts and Technologies of AI. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in mathematics for Machine Learning, hands-on Python programming skills, and a commitment to helping undergraduate students understand essential facts, principles, and theories in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Facilitation: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and hands-on workshops.
• Practical Mentorship: Guide students through interactive programming exercises using Python tools such as Google Colab, Jupyter Notebooks, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Pillow.
• Core Curriculum Delivery: Teach fundamental topics including Descriptive Statistics, Probability Theory, Discrete/Continuous Distributions, Linear Algebra, Dimensionality Reduction (PCA), and Supervised Learning (Linear & Logistic Regression).

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming for AI/ML.
• Mastery of core mathematical libraries: NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Solid understanding of foundational mathematical concepts for AI:
• Descriptive Statistics and Probability Theory.
• Linear Algebra (Vectors, Matrices, Eigen Decomposition, PCA implementation from scratch).
• Hands-on experience building foundational Machine Learning models (Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Gradient Descent) from scratch.

Teaching & Soft Skills

• Strong ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into accessible tutorials and practical workshops.
• Awareness of ethical and moral frameworks surrounding Artificial Intelligence.
• Previous higher education teaching, tutoring, or lab-assisting experience is strongly preferred.
