Email Marketing Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Email Marketing Executive to plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns that increase customer engagement, lead generation, conversions, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Execution

• Plan, build, test and deploy email campaigns across both Mercury 360 and Mercury Recruit.
• Maintain the email calendar in coordination with the wider content and paid media plan.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, send times, creative and calls to action, and apply the findings.
• Coordinate with the content creator and designer to brief and approve copy and creative.

Data, Segmentation & Deliverability

• Maintain database hygiene: deduplication, suppression lists, bounce handling and re-engagement.
• Build and manage segments by industry, company size, lifecycle stage and engagement level.
• Monitor sender reputation and configure authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) with technical support.
• Ensure compliance with consent, unsubscribe and data protection requirements in all target markets.

Reporting & Optimisation

• Track delivery, open, click, reply, unsubscribe and conversion metrics against agreed targets.
• Report weekly on campaign performance and monthly on channel contribution to pipeline.
• Identify drop-off points in the funnel and propose specific fixes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, IT or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on email marketing experience, preferably with a SaaS, technology or B2B product.
• Working knowledge of at least one marketing automation or CRM platform (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign or similar).
• Strong written English with the ability to adapt tone across different brand voices.
• Comfort with data: able to read campaign analytics and draw practical conclusions from them.
• Understanding of email deliverability fundamentals and anti-spam practice.

PREFERRED (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• Basic HTML and CSS for editing responsive email templates.
• Experience marketing a product through its initial launch phase.
• Exposure to landing page builders, form tools or conversion rate optimisation.
• Awareness of both Nepali and international B2B buying behaviour.
